Kids who grew up watching old Looney Tunes reruns might remember their send-up of the series, involving a mouse named Ralph Crumden. The series is certainly dated, especially with Ralph’s way of solving conflict threatening to hit his wife and send her “to the moon.” But outside of that, “The Honeymooners” set up many of the conflicts sitcoms would follow over the decades, as well as showcase a live show involving minimal editing.

Mary Tyler Moore taught us all that we’re “gonna make it after all.” Moore who had already become a star off her work in “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” played Mary Richards, an opinionated, single woman working on her career as an assistant producer for a Minneapolis news station.
